Please note: This course covers the fundamentals of infection prevention and control and reprocessing in general. This course does not cover recent changes in IPAC requirements and specific issues raised during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This course is designed for the entire dental team. It is based on the infection control and prevention procedures at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry and inspired by guidelines of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Canadian Dental Association and the Center for Disease Control in the United States.

The focus of this course will be to provide up to date information on best practices in infection prevention and control and instruction on the practical application of those practices in dental offices.
